CEBIT expo held in Germany yesterday in which ASUS has announced their energy efficient LCD monitor. This monitor claims the first to work with wireless connection. Users can have the option of connecting displays to their host computers via a Wireless Host Controller Interface (WHCI) or Wireless USB Host Wire Adapter (HWA), reportedly without any degradation of quality compared to conventional wired displays.

The models are VH192C and VH196 and they are efficient monitors especially designed with the environment in mind using low level of mercury and only two lamps to achieve a power of savings of more than 20 percent. The release date and price of this device are not yet announced.
